Job summary

Bauer Media Group is seeking Temporary Van Drivers for Mission Christmas, based in Fareham, during November and December. You will collect gifts, load and unload bags, and may make occasional deliveries to beneficiaries.

A valid driving license is required, and a van will be provided for travel within the role. Join Cash for Kids, the charity of Bauer Media in the UK, as part of a mission to bring Christmas joy to children in need during the holiday season.

This holiday season we are looking for Temporary Van Drivers across the UK to join us for Mission Christmas during the months of November and December based in Fareham

The Mission Christmas Van Driver has a vital and demanding role to play in making our mission a reality. These are temporary roles where you really will be playing Santa!

Although you will be required to commute to the warehouse at your location, for any travelling within the role we will provide you with a Van.

Our Mission

Mission Christmas is the largest Christmas gift appeal in the UK. Our aim is to ensure every child wakes up to a present on Christmas morning, however for many children their family circumstances mean this may not be the case.

Families living in poverty face the daily dilemma of whether to buy clothes for their children, to heat the house or to put food on the table. Christmas is a luxury they simply can’t afford. Rising costs have tipped many more families into financial hardship, and Christmas 2026 will see an even greater need for help from Mission Christmas.

What you’ll be doing

Collecting gifts from drop-off locations and delivering to our warehouse

Loading, unloading and moving large collection bags

Occasional deliveries of gifts to beneficiaries

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for wanting to make sure all children have that magical Christmas moment of opening a present. You’ll be organised, flexible, enthusiastic, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and most of all LOVE CHRISTMAS!

You must have a valid driving license.

Location: Fareham

This is a temporary position throughout the months of November and December to support Mission Christmas.
