Job description

This holiday season we are looking for Temporary Van Drivers across the UK to join us for Mission Christmas during the months of November and December based in Edinburgh

Our Team

Cash for Kids is the charity of Bauer Media in the UK. Our mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in our communities who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs. We believe that all children should be able to express their individuality, achieve their potential and live life to the full. We work with grassroots organisations that aim to make a difference to young lives, directly supporting families who often have nowhere else to go.

Our Mission

Mission Christmas is the largest Christmas gift appeal in the UK. Our aim is to ensure every child wakes up to a present on Christmas morning, however for many children their family circumstances mean this may not be the case. Families living in poverty face the daily dilemma of whether to buy clothes for their children, to heat the house or to put food on the table. Christmas is a luxury they simply can’t afford. Rising costs have tipped many more families into financial hardship, and Christmas 2026 will see an even greater need for help from Mission Christmas.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collecting gifts from drop-off locations and delivering to our warehouse
• Loading, unloading and moving large collection bags
• Occasional deliveries of gifts to beneficiaries

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for wanting to make sure all children have that magical Christmas moment of opening a present. You’ll be organised, flexible, enthusiastic, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and most of all LOVE CHRISTMAS!

You must have a valid driving license.

Location: Edinburgh

This is a temporary position throughout the months of November and December to support Mission Christmas.

We are an international employer and equal opportunities are important to us. That's why we welcome everyone in their uniqueness, regardless of e.g. religion, gender, skin color, disability in our house.
