Job summary

Kinaxia Southampton is seeking a reliable Van Driver to join our expanding team in the UK. You will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods across designated routes, ensuring on-time service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include vehicle checks, safe loading, POD completion, and maintaining accurate records while upholding Health & Safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK/EU driving licence is essential.
• Experience as a multi-drop driver preferred.
• Good knowledge of local routes and geography.
• Ability to load/unload safely and securely.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete defect reports.
• Safely load, secure and unload goods.
• Deliver and collect products on designated routes within scheduled times.
• Complete POD documentation and report shortages or damages.
• Maintain delivery records and update transport systems.
• Communicate delays or issues to Traffic Office promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service at each delivery/collection point.
• Keep vehicle and work area clean and tidy.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies at all times.

The Role

Responsibilities

As a Van Driver, you'll play a key role in ensuring customers receive their goods safely, efficiently, and on time. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and completing defect reports.
• Safely loading, securing and unloading goods while maintaining the highest safety standards.
• Delivering and collecting products across designated routes within scheduled timeframes.
• Completing Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation accurately and reporting any shortages or damages.
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and updating transport management systems.
• Communicating any delays, incidents or operational issues to the Traffic Office promptly.
• Ensuring excellent customer service at every delivery and collection point.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle and work area.
• Following all Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Full UK/EU Driving Licence.
• Previous experience as a multi-drop driver.
• Good knowledge of local routes and geography.
• Strong understanding of safe loading and unloading practices.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• A professional and customer-focused approach.
