Job summary

The Best Connection Warrington is seeking an experienced van driver to deliver pharmaceutical products to care homes and private addresses around Haydock. You will work on scheduled runs with handball as required, typically 5–15 drops per day and 8-hour shifts starting at 06:00, Monday to Friday.

Professional van driving experience and strong customer service are essential, with a DBS check conducted after start and references available on request.

Qualifications

• Professional van driver with customer service experience.
• Category B licence and at least 2 years of van driving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pharmaceutical products to care homes and private addresses.
• Typically 5–15 deliveries per day with handball as needed.

Job description

The Best Connection Warrington are currently recruiting for an experienced van driver on behalf of our client who is based in Haydock.

Job Specifics:

• The role consists of delivering pharmaceutical products to care homes and private addresses
• Dependant on the run you are allocated you will be performing up to 5-15 deliveries per day, with handball involved
• The start times each day are 06:00am with finish times varying, again, dependant on the run which you are allocated
• Shifts are approximately 8 hours long
• This role is on going Monday to Friday
• As part of the application process, you will be required to undergo a DBS check (there is no cost for this), this check will be carried out once the successful candidate has started
• Professional van driving experience and good customer service skills are essential for this role

Requirements:

• Category B licence
• 2 years van driving experience (insurance purposes)
• No more than 6 points for minor offences
• Must be able to provide at least 2 Van driving references
