Job summary

Jobsworth Recruitment is seeking reliable Van Drivers for ongoing work across Birmingham and the Black Country, with routes ranging from local deliveries to longer-distance assignments.

We offer weekly pay, flexible shifts, and clear information about each assignment before you accept. You’ll be provided with a variety of vehicles and start times, and training is available.

Qualifications

• Valid full UK driving licence.
• No DR, DD or IN endorsements.
• Experience driving vans is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-drop deliveries.
• Load and unload goods as required.
• Handballing and pallet handling where needed.
• Maintain punctual schedules and accurate route logs.

Van Drivers Required - Birmingham & Black Country

Ongoing Work | Christmas & Into 2027 | Variety of Routes & Work Available

Jobsworth Recruitment are currently recruiting Van Drivers for a variety of ongoing work across Birmingham and the Black Country, with opportunities available throughout Christmas and continuing into 2027.

We have a range of driving work available, so whether you prefer local deliveries, multi-drop work, trade deliveries or longer-distance routes, there are opportunities available for reliable and experienced van drivers.

The Work

Depending on the client and assignment, work can include:

• Multi-drop deliveries
• Local delivery routes
• Regional and longer-distance work
• Trade and industrial deliveries
• Palletised goods
• Builders' merchants deliveries
• General delivery work
• Van and flatbed work
• Collection and delivery work
• Loading and unloading
• Handballing goods where required

Routes, workloads and start times vary depending on the client and type of work.

We'll always explain exactly what's involved before offering you a shift, so you'll know the vehicle, start time, route and type of deliveries before accepting the work.

Vehicles

Depending on the assignment, you could be driving:

• 3.5T Panel Vans
• Long Wheel Base Vans
• Luton Vans
• 3.5T Flatbed Vans
• Tail-Lift Vehicles

Requirements

We're looking for reliable and professional drivers who have:

• A full UK driving licence
• Previous van driving experience preferred
• Maximum 6 points on your licence
• No DR, DD or IN endorsements
• Good knowledge of UK roads
• Reliable and punctual approach
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with loading, unloading and handballing goods
• Flexible approach to different types of delivery work
