Job summary

Pertemps is seeking a Van Driver in Dartford, Kent. The role involves delivering high-value goods across the South East and London in a half-refrigerated van, with a 6:00am–4:00pm shift, Monday to Friday. Immediate start offered and weekly PAYE payments.

£14.50 per hour, full-time, ongoing work with an established client. Prior multi-drop or courier driving experience is preferred; full UK licence required with up to 6 penalty points allowed.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required for driving a van.
• Experience as Van Driver, Delivery Driver, or similar role preferred.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Able to work independently and manage delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-value goods to commercial customers.
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure deliveries are on time and paperwork is completed.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout routes.

We are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our client based in Dartford, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Multi Drop Van Driver, Delivery Driver, or 3.5 Tonne Driver looking for ongoing work with a reputable company.

Shift: Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 4:00pm
Start:ASAP
Pay rate:£14.50 per hour, weekly pay, PAYE via Pertemps

As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of high-value goods across the South East, London and surrounding areas using a half-refrigerated van. You will provide excellent customer service while ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and securely.

Van Driver Responsibilities

• Delivering high-value goods to commercial customers
• Driving a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Obtaining proof of delivery and completing relevant paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service at all times

Van Driver Job Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous experience as a Van Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi Drop Driver, Courier Driver, or 3.5 Tonne Driver
• No more than 6 penalty points
