GI Group is recruiting a reliable van driver for ongoing work with a carrier company in Chelmsford. You will deliver to residential addresses, manage daily collections, and maintain professional customer service throughout the route.

Key responsibilities include loading the van, organizing parcels, performing vehicle checks, and ensuring safety. The role offers weekly PAYE pay and ongoing, consistent work within a reputable logistics network.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid UK Category B (car) licence and have no more than 6 penalty points.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
• Attention to detail and safety-minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to residential addresses and complete up to 20 collections per day.
• Organise parcels in the van for the morning load and ensure route efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism during deliveries.
• Perform vehicle checks and keep the van in safe working order.

Pay: £14.56 / hour including advanced holiday pay, (Weekly Pay, PAYE Only)

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday

Gi Group are looking for reliable and motivated courier drivers for ongoing work with a carrier company based in Chelmsford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ongoing role delivering to residential addresses.

Your Responsibilities as a Van Driver:

• Complete up to 20 collections per day
• Drivers will take charge of their morning load, organising parcels into the van
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism during deliveries
• Perform vehicle checks and ensure the van is in safe working order.

What You'll Need as a Van Driver:

• A valid UK, in-date Category B (car) license
• No more than 6 SP penalty points accepted (no BA/CD/CU/DR/IN endorsements)
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Good customer service skills and a safety-focused approach
