Job summary

GI Group are recruiting Courier Drivers for our client in Southampton. This ongoing role runs Tue-Fri with start around 09:00am, possibly earlier at peak. You will handle deliveries and collections across 10–15 stops per area, loading/unloading palletised freight, and maintaining safe driving practices.

You must hold a valid UK Category B license, have at least 1 year van driving experience, and be able to provide 5 years of work/education history for security checks. DBS check may be required.

Qualifications

• A valid UK, in-date Category B (car) license
• Minimum 1 year of van driving experience
• No more than 6 SP penalty points accepted (no BA/CD/CU/DR/IN endorsements)
• Able to provide 5 years of work / education history for security clearance
• DBS check required (can be provided but may take up to two weeks)
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Good customer service skills and a safety-focused approach

GI Group are currently recruiting Courier Drivers for our internationally known client in Southampton.

We are looking for Courier Drivers to work on an ongoing basis:

Tuesdays to Fridays.
Start time: usually around 09:00am (could be earlier during peak depending on workload).

£14.24 per hour*
Shift length: 10-12 hours depending on workload*Please note: pay rate is PAYE and includes advanced holiday pay.

• Manual handling involved, so drivers must be fit to lift as loads can be heavy
