Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited in Carlisle is recruiting Van Drivers for the Christmas period, with full on-site training and no prior delivery experience required. You will complete deliveries across Carlisle, handling around 60 drops per day, loading and unloading your vehicle, and following routes with customer service at each point.

We are currently recruiting Van Drivers for our client based in Carlisle to support increased demand throughout the busy Christmas period. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in delivery driving, with full on-site training provided and no previous delivery experience required.

The Role

As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Completing parcel and package deliveries across Carlisle and surrounding areas
• Carrying out approximately 60 drops per day
• Loading and unloading your vehicle safely
• Following planned delivery routes efficiently
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point
• Completing all relevant delivery paperwork and electronic records

This is a physically demanding role involving a high level of manual handling throughout the day. Candidates must be comfortable lifting, moving and carrying parcels regularly as part of their daily duties.

No Experience Required

Previous delivery driving experience is not essential, as full training will be provided on-site. We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Working Hours

09:00am - 5:30pm

• Monday to Friday
• Tuesday to Saturday
• Sunday to Thursday
• £13.00 per hour
• £19.50 per hour for overtime worked
• Full on-site training provided
• Ongoing work throughout the busy Christmas period
• Opportunity to gain valuable delivery experience

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A full UK Driving Licence
