VAN DRIVER

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Van Drivers to join our well-established client based in Bristol who are expanding their team. Temporary position with the chance of this becoming permanent!

As a Van Delivery Driver, you will be delivering our client's products to stores in and around the Bristol area.

This role will be ongoing for the right candidate.

Shifts: WORKING 5 DAYS OUT 7: START TIMES 06:00 - 10:00

Pay rate: £14.27 per hour basic

£18.55 per hour overtime after 45 hours

Day to Day Duties

Your day to day duties as a Van Driver will be, but not limited to:

• As a Van delivery driver you must load your van every morning in the warehouse
• You will be required to carry out store deliveries each day, most deliveries will be of clothing or beauty products
• As well as store deliveries this role will also include collections
• You will be required to communicate effectively
• Show great customer service skills
• Delivering parcels to different drop off locations
• Loading / Unloading
• Use of PDA / Scanner

Essential Skills

• Full UK Category B Driving Licence
• At least twelve months van delivery driver experience
• No more than three points for MINOR offences
• Eager and willing to work
• Great customer service skills
• No major endorsements like DRs or DDs

Desirable Experience

• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous

Training

• A driving assessment must be completed before you can start work
• Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
