Job summary

Candidate Source in the Midlands is seeking a Van Driver to join a two-person delivery team, handling multi-drop routes across the Midlands while delivering a professional service from arrival to completion.

You will start at Beaumont Leys near Leicester, with ongoing work and a chance for long-term opportunities; full training and support are provided, and you'll work Monday to Friday with early starts. Holiday entitlement 28 days per year, on-site parking at the Leicester depot.

Qualifications

• Previous van driving and multi-drop delivery experience.
• A full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
• No DD, DR, TT or IN10 driving endorsements.
• Strong customer service skills with experience dealing directly with customers.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, starting between 4:00am and 6:00am, with shifts typically lasting 12-14 hours.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries of household appliances to customers across the Midlands and surrounding areas.
• Work within a two-person crew to unload goods safely at residential properties.
• Assist with appliance installation where required as part of the delivery service.
• Complete approximately 14-20 deliveries per day, depending on the planned route.
• Provide a professional standard of customer service throughout each delivery.
• Handle appliances safely throughout loading, transport and delivery.

Job description

Getting household appliances safely through a customer's door takes more than getting from A to B. As a Van Driver, you'll work within a two-person delivery team, handling multi-drop routes across the Midlands while making sure every customer receives a professional service from arrival through to completion.

You'll be joining an established home products operation in Beaumont Leys, with ongoing work available and the potential for a long-term opportunity. New starters will initially work alongside an experienced permanent colleague, giving you the support to learn the routes, delivery process and installation requirements properly.
