Job Title: Van Delivery Driver

Location: Farnham, Surrey, GU10 4LG

Contract: Full Time (Monday to Friday)

Hours: 42.5 hours per week (07:30am - 17:00pm)

Salary: GBP28,000.00 - GBP28,450.00 per annum

Commission: Monthly KPI bonus

Outline of the Role

To work alongside a successful team within a busy Parts Department. The role involves delivering parts to customers and moving stock between depots in Southeast England. You will be responsible for achieving daily sales and profit targets, maintaining and developing depot sales through value-added selling and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver parts and attachments efficiently and safely to customer requests.
2. Maintain accurate van stock levels.
3. Ensure all parts taken from stock are invoiced before removal, keeping stock records accurate.
4. Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
5. Transport stock between depots in Southeast England.
6. Answer incoming calls at the Farnham depot when all deliveries are completed.
7. Suggest product alternatives and upsell to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
8. Develop customer relationships across all product ranges to meet profit targets.
9. Adhere to company policies on cash, cheque, and credit card transactions.
10. Follow credit control procedures.
11. Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.
12. Use catalogues and price lists to identify parts and meet customer needs.
13. Keep price lists updated.
14. Operate a forklift safely and responsibly.
15. Present a professional image at all times.
16. Follow health and safety policies.
17. Exceed customer expectations while maintaining profitability.
18. Contribute to team success through good communication.
19. Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping standards.
20. Hold a valid and clean driving license.
