The Royal Mail is a much-loved brand, providing postal delivery services to 64 million people all around the UK.

Due to an increase in demand, Pertemps is partnering with the Royal Mail to source professional Delivery Drivers to support their busy operations. This is your opportunity to make a real impact in your community!

About the role:

1. Start your day at the local delivery office, sorting and gathering mail for your route.
2. Deliver parcels using a company van or on foot along postal routes.
3. Use a hand-held computer device to detail your route and track your mail.
4. Deliver mail and parcels to the local community.
5. Shift lengths vary between 6 to 8 hours per day.

Shift Times:

Between 07:00 and 15:00, Monday to Saturday (must be available every day).

About You:

• You are upbeat, self-motivated, and comfortable working alone or as part of a team.
• You enjoy working outdoors and are relatively fit and healthy due to the walking involved.
• You are smartly presented and act professionally and courteously.
• You are able to commit to working Monday to Saturday and are flexible with your hours.

Previous Experience:

• Experience in a delivery driving role with a customer-facing attitude is required.
• You must complete a full DBS security check before starting.

Driving Requirements:

• Full UK manual driving licence at your current UK address.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Endorsements of IN, DD, DR, or CD are not accepted.
