Job summary

Conquip Engineering Group is seeking a reliable Van Delivery Driver to join our Transport department in Norfolk. You will ensure safe, timely delivery and collection of Conquip products while upholding customer service standards and all regulatory requirements.

You will work with the Depot Manager to coordinate logistics and protect the brand's reputation through professional interactions and timely updates to customers. Prior experience with delivery roles and a proactive approach are valued.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license and strict adherence to driving laws and safety regulations.
• Experience in delivering to customers and coordinating local logistics is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced transport environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect Conquip products to customer sites and depots.
• Coordinate logistics with Transport Manager and depot staff to meet delivery targets.
• Maintain clear communication with office and customers on schedule changes.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am - 4pm (flexibility around these hours is essential)

Salary: £34,500 per annum, plus overtime and bonus

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Van Delivery Driver to join our Transport department. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the safe, timely delivery and collection of Conquip products. You will ensure excellent customer service while adhering to all relevant regulations. Working closely with the Depot Manager, you will play a vital role in coordinating logistics and upholding the positive reputation of the Conquip brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect Conquip products to and from final destinations in a professional, efficient and effective manner
• Coordinate logistics with the Transport Manager, prioritising a customer-focused approach
• Maintain clear and timely communication between the office and customers to meet or exceed delivery targets
• Comply rigorously with all driving regulations, including Tacho and DSA standards
• Uphold a positive and professional representation of the Conquip brand at all times
• Ensure the vehicle is maintained to a high standard and all compliance requirements are met

• Accuracy and punctuality of Tacho reports
• Consistent achievement of on-time delivery performance
• High levels of customer satisfaction
• Regular and thorough vehicle maintenance
