Job Opportunity: Valuer

We are working with an organization based in the Gloucester area that is looking for a Valuer to join their team. You will contribute to the delivery of the disposal programme by visiting properties and land to provide valuations. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of the property market and previous experience in property and land transactions. RICS qualification is required for this role. The company offers support with qualifications and opportunities for progression.

Salary: £36,000 - £42,000

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide valuation advice on a wide range of property types.
  2. Regularly update the Disposal Manager on sales and pipeline opportunities.
  3. Advise on the best methods of sale for land and properties.
  4. Prepare properties for sale by conducting visits, providing valuations, and preparing valuation reports.
  5. Liaise with the Disposal Team, Auction Houses, Estate Agents, and Land Agents.
  6. Coordinate the preparation of property particulars, including arranging photos, floorplans, and collateral.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Good working knowledge of relevant legislation and RICS valuation standards.
  • Experience in valuation and condition reporting is desirable.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • RICS Registered Valuer.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Accurate record-keeping skills.
