Salary: £55,226 - £69,032 - depending on experience

Are you an experienced Business Analyst looking to take your career to the next level?

We’re seeking experienced Business Analysts to join our new Value Stream Business Analyst roles. You’ll be responsible for leveraging analytical techniques to understand and translate value stream needs into clear, concise, and testable requirements.

You’ll work closely with the Value Stream Product Owner to manage the backlog, facilitate communication between stakeholders and engineers, and support end-to-end change processes from definition to delivery and business readiness.

We value flexible working arrangements, allowing you to work remotely or from our offices in Salford Quays, Manchester, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, or Guernsey, with occasional office visits.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the creation and management of the Value Stream Roadmap
• Understanding stakeholder needs and translating them into backlog items
• Defining change, benefits, impact, and risk analysis
• Analyzing business problems and opportunities
• Mapping and documenting business processes
• Facilitating communication between teams
• Participating in sprint planning and ceremonies
• Supporting the Product Owner with backlog refinement and prioritization
• Creating user stories and acceptance criteria
• Supporting engineers in understanding and decomposing user stories
• Using analysis techniques like use cases, wireframes, and flow diagrams
• Leading meetings, workshops, and presentations
• Collaborating on PI Planning preparations
• Contributing to standards and best practices for agile change
• Supporting change adoption and rollout
• Ensuring compliance with policies and standards

Experience & Knowledge:

• Understanding of business objectives, structures, and policies
• Knowledge of product capabilities and roadmaps
• Experience with cloud solutions
• Ability to engage engineers and stakeholders
• Knowledge of BPM, workflow, and integration tools
• Experience with business analysis within Agile frameworks
• Proficiency in elicitation and documentation techniques
• Experience in re-engineering processes and developing services/products
• Stakeholder management skills
• Insurance or financial services background preferred, but not essential
• Knowledge of FCA requirements (including Consumer Duty)
• Extensive Business Analysis experience
