Job Overview
MFT’s Value for Patients Coordinator supports the development of the Trust’s “Value based Healthcare” approach that contributes to long term financial sustainability, and has emphasis on patient benefit, harm avoidance and equitability of access to treatment. The postholder will work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust continues to provide safe and clinically effective services for the people of Greater Manchester.

The postholder is required to provide project management and other administrative support within the Value for Patients team, including liaison with Clinical Groups and Corporate Divisions and Hospitals.
Main duties of the job
The role will require support to a range of tasks including data collection, production of management information and organisation of meetings, agendas and action logs. It will also include administration of Wave, MFT’s programme management tool.
The post holder may be expected to engage internal and external stakeholders in the planning and delivery of these programme objectives and to demonstrate collaborative working across and a ‘can-do attitude’ with a strong focus on delivery.
The post holder will also be required to collate and report on Value for Patient Programme status and provide assurance to senior management on progress, to fixed deadlines.
