We are hiring an ambitious, newly qualified rural surveyor to join our rural division in Oxford. Our dedicated team provides advice to landowners and farmers on unlocking asset value, diversification, land use change, rural management, natural capital, biodiversity opportunities, and rural asset valuation across the UK.

This varied role requires project and business management skills, with hands-on delivery of property services including valuation advice to clients, professional advisors, and stakeholders. If you are not currently RICS qualified, we support a two-year structured RICS graduate training program to achieve APC completion. Building strong client relationships is essential, including attending meetings and preparing communications and reports.

We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including flexible options such as additional leave, health cash plans, cycle-to-work schemes, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide professional advice to a diverse portfolio of management and consultancy clients.
  2. Support Partners in delivering valuations of farms, estates, country houses, and properties across England.
  3. Manage existing clients as a first point of contact, ensuring excellent service and sound advice.
  4. Deliver valuations and manage rural estates and property portfolios, providing strategic advice, drafting agreements, and handling deals.
  5. Assist in expanding the team by identifying and developing fee-earning opportunities.
  6. Collaborate with other teams such as planning, development, valuation, energy, infrastructure, agency, and natural capital to generate new business.
  7. Contribute to the development of efficient internal systems and processes, optimizing IT and resources.
  8. Ensure compliance with policies, legal, professional, and corporate standards.
  9. Support pitch reporting and presentations.

This job description is not exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned to ensure smooth office operations.

What will it take to be successful?

We seek a forward-thinking, can-do attitude newly qualified surveyor with the ability to manage multiple projects and a variety of work. Ideally, you are near completion of your APC and eager to grow your career. Experience in rural practice through work placements or previous roles is preferred. A full UK driving license or working towards one is essential. We welcome applications from both experienced graduates and new chartered surveyors seeking their next career step.
