Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal's London Valuations team is seeking a Director to lead complex valuation engagements across industries. This high-visibility role offers immediate ownership of client relationships and the opportunity to shape the practice's growth in the UK and beyond.

You will apply advanced financial analysis, modelling and reporting skills, collaborate with senior leaders, and mentor junior team members while expanding the firm's presence in new sectors and geographies.

Qualifications

Several years of valuation experience at a Big 4 firm, consulting firm, or independent valuation firm.
Strong academic background with focus on Finance and/or Mathematics.
Professional qualifications (accounting or CFA) ideally.
Proficiency in AI prompting, as well as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in financial analysis and financial modelling.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Fluent business-level English is essential and other languages helpful.

Responsibilities

Lead high-profile valuation engagements for diverse client groups.
Develop reports for senior stakeholders and present findings to clients.
Mentor and guide junior team members and contribute to team development.
Collaborate with Managing Directors and contribute to business development activities.
Contribute to cross-border engagements and expand presence in new geographies.
