Overview

We are collaborating with a leading UK accounting firm seeking a Valuations Assistant Manager for their Birmingham office. The firm has shown exceptional growth over the past two years, particularly in Valuations, and is now looking to expand their team at the Assistant Manager level. This role is ideal for motivated individuals aiming to advance or continue developing within a high-performing, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and deliver a variety of valuation engagements for financial reporting, transaction support, and strategic decision-making.
  2. Support senior team members in developing valuation models, including DCF, market multiples, and option pricing methods.
  3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams across audit, tax, and corporate finance to provide integrated client solutions.
  4. Conduct industry and company research to support valuation analysis and prepare client deliverables.
  5. Mentor and review junior staff work, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  6. Assist in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
Minimum Requirements
  1. ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
  2. Previous experience in Valuations Advisory.
  3. Strong technical valuation skills, including Excel modelling and familiarity with relevant accounting and valuation standards.
  4. Excellent communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  5. Proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented approach.
