Job summary

BBL Property Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Valuation Surveyor to cover select Essex postcodes with some surrounding area flexibility. The role focuses on long-form commercial valuations (development/HMO) with a low-volume, high-fee workload and an emphasis on quality over quantity.

Essential MRICS or VRS qualifications with around 3 years PQE are required. The package includes a salary up to £75k base, generous car allowance, pension, annual leave, and uncapped bonuses with no threshold.

Valuation Surveyor - ESSEX - £120k OTE (from c£70k base)

We're working exclusively with a long established, medium sized independent private practice based in London.

With an impressive international client base including Private Banks, Hedge Funds and HNW individuals, they are now looking to hire an additional Valuation Surveyor as follows:

• Covering a select patch of Essex postcodes, with some flexibility to cover closely surrounding areas where necessary
• Low volume, high fee workload (£1400 per report average)
• Long Form Valuation (commercial bias - development / HMO etc.)
• MRICS / VRS essential (with 3 years PQE or thereabouts - unfortunately our client cannot consider AssocRICS Surveyors at this time)
• Quality over quantity ethos (not “5 points per day etc.)
• Diverse workload
• Highly desirable employer, positions rarely available and often only vacant through retirement or business growth (the latter being the case on this occasion)

In addition to a basic salary up to £75k the successful Valuation Surveyor can expect a generous car allowance, pension, annual leave entitlement and uncapped bonuses (percentage of fees) with no threshold.
