The Carter Jonas Cambridge office is seeking a RICS Commercial Surveyor with post-qualification experience to join our Commercial Valuations team. The role covers valuations for loan security, tax and reporting, with involvement in major projects and regional growth across the Eastern region.
You will be based in Cambridge office at least two days per week and work alongside planning, development and rural divisions in a collaborative, professional environment with regular wellbeing activities
We have an exciting opportunity for a RICS Commercial Surveyor, ideally with post qualification experience, to join our Commercial Valuations team based in Cambridge. Due to the nature of the role, we encourage applications from recently qualified to Associate level. We are open to candidates with a specialist background as well as general commercial valuers. The post will suit someone looking for a new career challenge and with the desire to build client relations while ensuring the delivery of excellent service to all our clients.
Our Cambridge based valuations team cover Cambridge and the surrounding areas and value within most sectors. You will be based in our flagship Cambridge office a minimum of 2 days per week. You will work alongside our thriving teams in the planning and development and rural divisions. You will be a qualified chartered surveyor and registered valuer, ideally with post qualification experience across commercial property. You will have good working knowledge of relevant legislation and will ideally have a strong understanding of the local market to be able to identify new opportunities to grow the business further. You will be ambitious and keen to develop your career as part of a specialised team, focussing on commercial valuations generally. Travel will be required in this role, and a driving licence is essential.
