Job summary

Accord Healthcare is seeking a Validation Officer to support validation activities in Barnstaple, Devon, ensuring processes, equipment, systems and products meet quality, regulatory and performance standards.

The role involves executing validation activities in line with the validation plan and EC Annex 15, coordinating routine validation for process, cleaning, equipment and facilities, and creating validation documentation with clear data presentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar validation role.
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
• Self-managed, effective team player with initiative.
• Excellent Microsoft and IT skills.
• Ideally educated to A level, GCSE in English & Maths at minimum.

Responsibilities

• Perform validation activities in line with the validation plan and EC Annex 15.
• Coordinate routine validation activities for process, cleaning, equipment & facilities.
• Create and execute validation documentation.
• Present extensive data in an understandable format.
• Perform physical testing on product per local procedures.
• Generate and execute Change Control.
• Maintain and develop validation procedures.

The Role

We're seeking a Validation Officer to provide validation support to ensure processes, equipment, systems, and products consistently meet defined quality, regulatory, and performance standards.

• Performing validation activities in line with the company validation plan, current regulatory requirements, Annex 15 of the EC guide to Good Manufacturing Practice
• Monitoring and co-ordination of routine validation activities for process, cleaning, equipment & utilities and facilities
• Creating and executing validation documentation
• Presenting extensive data in a format that can be easily understood
• Performing physical testing on product in accordance with local procedures
• Generating and executing of Change Control
• Maintaining and developing validation associated procedures

The Person

• Proven experience within a similar role
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills
• Self-managed, effective team player and ability to work on own initiative
• Possess excellent Microsoft and IT skills
• Ideally educated to A level standard but as a minimum passes at GCSE in English Language and Mathematics
