Job summary

Arnold Clark Solihull is seeking an enthusiastic Valeter to ensure our vehicles are presented in sparkling condition. This full-time role suits someone who enjoys a physical, hands-on environment and takes pride in attention to detail.

You will work as part of a team, comply with health and safety procedures, and use equipment such as pressure washers and vacuums. Training is provided, with opportunities for progression within the Arnold Clark Group.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Basic computer skills required.
• High level of attention to detail is essential.
• Self-motivation with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
• Willingness to participate in training programmes.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning sold and stock vehicles to a high standard.
• Cleaning externally with a high-powered pressure washer.
• Vacuuming and shampooing vehicle interiors.
• Polishing/buffing to enhance bodywork.
• Adhering to health and safety procedures when handling chemicals.
• Maintaining and securing equipment and reporting defects.
• Working to set timeframes and targets.
• Using an online diary to manage vehicle schedule.
• Completing a daily record of work performed.
• Providing support to the branch as required.
