Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in Wolverhampton is seeking an enthusiastic Driver/Valeter to join our Rental department. You’ll ensure all vehicles are presented in the best possible condition and handle a busy, active role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has excellent attention to detail and is a reliable team player.

Training is provided, and Arnold Clark operates a Valet Academy. As part of day-to-day duties you will clean vehicles, drive to collect and deliver, and maintain

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Self-motivation with the ability to work as part of a team.
• The ability to multi-task.
• Willingness to participate in training programmes.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning sold and stock vehicles to a high standard.
• Cleaning vehicles with a high-powered pressure washer and vacuum.
• Working with a polishing/buffing machine to enhance bodywork.
• Driving to collect and deliver vehicles to customers and branches.
• Complying with health and safety procedures while working with chemicals.
• Maintaining and securing all equipment, reporting defects and following PPE recommendations.
• Working to set timeframes and targets.
• Completing a daily record of work.
