Job summary

Motorclean Ltd is seeking a Self Employed Car Valeter at a dealership in Scunthorpe. You will valet and prep vehicles to a high standard, including pre soak, wash, dry, polish, interior cleaning, tyre dressing and applying coatings when required.

All valeting products and PPE are provided. Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30–17:00 and Saturday 8:30–12:30; pay is per unit with average earnings around £500 per week.

Qualifications

• Experience as a professional valeter.
• Full driving licence.
• Reliable, consistent and able to work independently.
• Physically fit for hands-on valeting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicles to a high standard including interior and exterior.
• Pre-soak, wash, dry and polish/wax exterior.
• Dress tyres and apply coatings when required; maintain tools.
• Move vehicles safely on site and report any damage to management.
• Follow health and safety procedures and keep valet areas tidy.

Pay:

Per unit, with earnings of £500 per week.

Hours available:

Monday - Friday 8:30- 17:00 & Saturday 8:30- 12:30

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Ensure vehicles are cleaned to a high standard
• Pre-soak, wash, dry and polish/ wax exterior
• Clean and vacuum interior including seats, windows, carpets, mats, dashboards
• Dress tyres
• Apply protective/ ceramic coatings to exterior and interior when required
• Check vehicles for damage and report to Management
• Maintain valeting tools
• Handle chemicals according to Health and safety procedures
• Keep valet areas clean and tidy at all times.
• Move vehicles safely on company grounds
• Prioritise workload and communicate to relevant department
