Job summary

Apex Resource Management Ltd is seeking a professional Valeter Detailer to cover multiple automotive sites in Honiley, Ryton-on-Dunsmore and Solihull. This flexible 0-hour contract role focuses on VIP and premium vehicles, demanding meticulous attention to finish.

You will perform thorough interior and exterior valeting, report defects, and adhere to COSHH and safety procedures. Full UK driving licence required; overtime and travel between sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with max 6 points.
• Experience in professional valeting.
• Willing to work outside standard hours including overtime.
• Willing to travel between sites.
• COSHH understanding.

Responsibilities

• Jet washing and thorough exterior cleaning of vehicles
• Application of traffic film remover and appropriate cleaning products
• Hand washing of vehicles using soap and sponge techniques
• Cleaning of wheels, tyres and wheel arches
• Blow drying and leather drying of vehicles to achieve a clean, streak-free finish
• Interior vacuuming, including seats, carpets, mats and luggage areas
• Cleaning and wiping of all interior trim, dashboards and surfaces
• Interior and exterior window cleaning
• Removal of water marks, light staining and surface contamination
• Detailing of exterior trim, grilles, badges and other intricate areas
• Application of tyre and wheel arch dressings
• Application of interior and exterior finishing products where required
• Final vehicle inspection and finishing to ensure a high-quality presentation standard
• Identifying and reporting any paintwork, trim or vehicle defects during the valeting/detailing process
• Attend briefings with Team Leaders and follow daily work priorities
• Escalate hazards, near misses and accidents to Team Leaders
• Adhere to Health and Safety, COSHH and Environmental procedures at all times

Pay Rate: To be discussed on application can be PAYE or Ltd Company

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (as required)

We are seeking a professional and experienced ValeterDetailer to provide cover support across our prestigious automotive sites based in Honiley, Ryton-on-Dunsmore, and Solihull.

This opportunity sits within a private and highly confidential department responsible for VIP vehicles, press cars, event vehicles and show cars. It is an excellent opportunity to work within a premium automotive environment where quality is prioritised over speed and attention to detail is paramount.

This is a flexible 0-hour contract position, providing cover support when required across the locations.

The successful ValeterDetailer will ensure an immaculate finish across entire vehicles, including (but not limited to) interiors, exteriors, engine components, under-bonnet areas, lower door shuts, and inner front wings. A meticulous approach and pride in delivering high standards are essential.

Knowledge And Skills Required:

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential) - maximum of 6 points
• Experience of working within a professional valeting position
• Flexible attitude towards working hours including ability to complete overtime.
• Flexible attitude towards location as travel between sites may be required.
