The Peninsula London is delighted to announce that we are seeking a Valet Attendant (Marker) who will report to the Wardrobe Supervisor within the laundry department. This position supports laundry operations with hotel linen, guest laundry markings, residents, and colleagues’ laundry, following up both internally and with external providers.

Key Accountabilities

1. Coordinate hotel linen, guest, and staff laundry with internal and external service providers, ensuring proper follow-up on all job orders regarding process, quality, discrepancies, and defects.
2. Maintain accurate records of all laundry services. Conduct daily checks on uniforms, linen, and guest laundry, utilizing RFID inventory to prevent discrepancies and focus on quality.
3. Manage wash cycles appropriately. Advise supervisors on fabric discoloration, feel, quality issues, and errors in guest/colleague laundry. Assist in maintaining a clean laundry environment and machine cleaning at shift end.
4. Assist the wardrobe supervisor with monthly inventory of uniforms, chemicals, machines, supplies, and control department expenses.

General Requirements

• Experience in laundry operations, including high-quality fabric/linen handling and/or dry cleaning.
• Passion for luxury hotel service with excellent communication skills.
• Strong time management, organization, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and remain flexible.
