Job summary

Driver Hire Gatwick is seeking a reliable Sewage Vacuum Tanker Driver & Operative to join our team for a South East client. The role is Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm, with umbrella rate of £19 per hour and a temp-to-perm pathway.

You will drive and operate liquid waste vacuum tankers, pump out sewage systems, handle job records, and use an iPhone/iPad to manage updates. On-call about once every 1-2 months.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Live within 15 miles of the base.
• Hands-on approach and good work ethic.
• Good communication and confidence with smartphones/tablets.
• Previous tanker, drainage, sewage or liquid waste experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate liquid waste and vacuum tankers safely and professionally.
• Pump out sewage systems, pump stations, stormwater facilities and similar tanks.
• Complete paperwork and job records accurately after each job.
• Use an iPhone or iPad to manage updates, messages and email communication.
• Provide reliable, professional service while working across South London and down to the coast.
