Job summary

Leybold UK, Chessington, United Kingdom, seeks a Workshop Service Technician to maintain and repair pumps, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. The role involves disassembly, inspection, calibration, and accurate documentation in line with Leybold standards.

You will work on-site with a local service team, following KPI-guided service practices, and contribute to delivering reliable vacuum solutions to customers.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Three years' experience in manufacturing is ideal but not essential.
• Experience in mechanical assembly, vacuum pump, or equipment repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional maintenance and repair of pumps to a high standard.
• Independently perform maintenance tasks; disassembly, inspection, cleaning, diagnosis, spare parts, reassembly, testing.
• Complete service documentation and maintain records in the work order system.
