We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Vacuum Excavator Driver and Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of vacuum excavation equipment on various sites across the Midlands.

Job Purpose

As a Vacuum Excavator Driver & Operator, you will play a vital role in the safe excavation of underground utilities, including gas, water, electricity, and telecommunications, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding environment. This position involves working as part of a team, maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and adhering to all relevant safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive Vacuum Excavator HGV Vehicle and perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
2. Operate vacuum excavation equipment safely and efficiently.
3. Maintain and clean vacuum excavation equipment regularly.
4. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with company procedures.
5. Complete accurate and timely paperwork, including site reports and daily logs.

Candidate Specification

1. Previous experience as a Vacuum Excavation Driver & Operator.

Experience & Qualifications

1. Valid UK driving licence Category C / HGV Class 2 licence.
2. CPCS card for operating vacuum excavation equipment.
3. A78 Vacuum Excavation Licence.
