Job summary

The Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust through its Community Vaccination Service is seeking an experienced HCSW to deliver the school age vaccination programme and support Covid vaccination delivery to housebound patients and care homes. The role includes assisting the admin lead with delegated tasks and vaccine logistics.

Applicants should be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS. Visa sponsorship is not available; valid right to work in the UK is essential.

Responsibilities

• Administering selected vaccines in schools, at community clinics, in care homes and in patient homes.
• Collecting vaccines and equipment from vaccine bases.
• Health promotion/vaccine education.
• Community engagement.
• Delegated administration tasks as identified by the admin lead, e.g., running reports and data collection.
