Vacancy for Digital Archives Coordinator at the National Theatre Archives

We are looking for a Digital Archives Coordinator to join the National Theatre Archives Team.

Working as part of a three-person digital team within the wider National Theatre Archive, you will play a key role in the effective planning, management, and delivery of the National Theatre’s digital preservation programme. Your responsibilities will include managing the transfer of records into our custody, their ingestion and curation in our digital preservation system (Preservica), and their sharing, re-use, and dissemination to colleagues and research communities.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Confidence in using complex software products.
  • Experience working with library, archive, or museum collections, or with large volumes of digital assets in other contexts.
  • Knowledge of digital preservation concepts and processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to use own initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to work.
