Vacancy for Archivist (Press, digital) at Cambridge University Press & Assessment

18 November 2024

Cambridge, England

Part-Time

This is an exciting new role based at The Triangle Building to support the delivery of our archive services across the organization. It will focus predominantly on Cambridge University Press and Assessment's Press-generated digital collections and complement the work of the Press Archivist based at Cambridge University Library.

As a key member of the Archive team, you will work closely with both Assessment and Press archive colleagues to support the harmonization of archive management and services while respecting the legacy of Press traditions.

About you

We are seeking a team member who shares our passion and values: collaborative, innovative, empowering, and responsible.

You will hold a postgraduate archive management qualification recognized by the Archives & Records Association and have experience working in an archives service, capable of working mostly to level 2 of the ARA's competency framework.

You will be a highly competent IT user with strong practical skills and experience in archive management systems.

Some projects will require independent work, while others will require close collaboration with archive and business colleagues.

Your duties will include cataloguing, developing accessible digital resources, building relationships with key colleagues, and assisting with promotional and developmental projects.
