Are you an enthusiastic team worker and professional archivist with experience in a range of archival functions seeking to develop your career in a permanent position offering great variety, potential impact, and opportunities for professional development?

We are seeking a new member of our team to join us in developing the use and management of the archival collection at Cambridge University Library. Of national and international significance, it includes scientific, religious, cultural, estate, business, and university archives and personal papers of remarkable range and depth. You will support researchers, students, and an increasingly diverse range of users to access archives and work collaboratively with colleagues in the Archives team and across the Library to manage collections and deliver services and projects.

As a professionally qualified and/or experienced archivist, you will bring professional knowledge, skills, and experience. You will require palaeographical and diplomatic skills allowing you to read and interpret medieval and early modern records, or the ability to acquire these skills intensively with professional development support. With excellent ICT literacy, you will have familiarity with the management of digitised and born-digital records. You will be an effective communicator able to engage a range of audiences with the archival collections and interpret them in a variety of media.
