Safeguarding is a priority at Dimples and applicants will be subject to rigorous recruitment and selection procedures which are designed to emphasise Dimples commitment to safeguarding responsibilities. These procedures include completion of recruitment pack, questioning at interview stage, verifying of appropriate qualifications, acquiring references, completing any necessary safety checks”.

Qualified Nursery Practitioner position: level 2, 3 or degree

  • Full and part time positions available
  • Must be available for shifts between 7.15am-6.45pm all year around
  • Salary: between £25,396.80-£36,500.00 per annum

About us

- Our nursery is a large day nursery located in Darenth near Dartford. We are proud to be rated Outstanding by Ofsted 6 consecutive times and are keen to recruit high quality staff to add to our existing brilliant team.

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum (No written Planning!)
- Observe and monitor children's development and progress
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, and behaviour
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's development
- Collaborate with other nursery staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a level 2 recognized Childcare Qualification
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred however we will consider newly qualified practitioners
- Knowledge of child development 0-5 is essential

- A love of working outside in all weathers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
