Job description

The Macro Economic & Cross Asset Research department comprises nearly 90 economists, strategists, and quantitative analysts worldwide, producing high-quality studies that need promotion to clients.

The Business Management Office and Marketing & Commercial team within this department are responsible for organizing, managing activities, and promoting and selling research outputs.

Business Management
  • Ensuring proper organization and performance management of macroeconomic research in compliance with regulations
  • Managing budgets and expenses
  • Reporting activities
  • Monitoring controls
Marketing
  • Promoting macroeconomic research through meetings with institutional and corporate investment clients
  • Organizing conferences, seminars, analyst visits, and video calls
  • Planning and managing events and conferences, including invitations, RSVPs, and post-event follow-up
  • Managing roadshows and client visits
  • Creating webcasts and online presentations
  • Following up commercially with clients
  • Updating marketing materials such as brochures, reports, and newsletters
  • Performing additional ad hoc tasks as needed

Candidate Profile

Note that this program is primarily for international development; candidates cannot apply for a VIE in their own country of citizenship. Applications should be submitted in English to facilitate review by English-speaking managers.

Studies & Experience
  • Master’s degree from Business/Engineering School or University
  • Experience in marketing/communications in a corporate setting is advantageous
  • Experience in project management is advantageous

Visa and Application Details

Applicants will need to pay visa fees (less than £1,000), reimbursed after starting the VIE. Proof of recent graduation, English proficiency (IELTS or TOEIC), and support funds are required. For more info, contact Christina Beauviere.

VIE Post-Brexit and Duration

The London VIE begins as soon as possible, with a 3-month application-to-start window. Visa processing may take 6-12 weeks. The assignment lasts 12 months, with no UK extension but potential extension in other countries within the Group.
