As part of the Green & Sustainable Hub Origination & Advisory EMEA, the main responsibilities will include:

“Green & Sustainable” (G&S) Financing Origination:

  • Development of presentations for clients on the overall green and sustainable finance market.
  • Assisting in the creation of client-specific presentations on G&S financing, including detailed analysis and proposals tailored to the client’s needs.

G&S Structuring:

  • Assisting clients during structuring mandates and execution with a cross-asset approach (DCM, ECM, Loans, Securitization, etc.), which includes: Assisting in the drafting of green, social, sustainability, or sustainability-linked financing frameworks. Analyzing and providing input for the framework regarding the client's sustainability and ESG profile, the types of projects/investments, and the sustainability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) used by the clients. Assisting in the development of materials on a client’s framework and G&S strategy for inclusion in a broader Lender/Investor presentation and coordinating Q&A sessions.

Primarily, these responsibilities will involve assisting UK and Nordic clients and transactions, focusing on:

  • Infrastructure and energy project finance (renewable energy, clean transportation, batteries, CCUS, hydrogen, district heating, etc.).
  • Real Estate & Hospitality, both at the asset and corporate levels.
  • Financial sponsors, including private equity investments and infrastructure funds, with particular attention to the most strategically significant coverage clients.
  • Assisting senior team members in the development of sustainable finance solutions for Global Markets products.
  • Supporting Nordic clients.

As a member of the Green & Sustainable Hub, responsibilities will also include:

  • Contributing to Natixis CIB’s G&S market data production and monitoring with the rest of the team, and producing extractions/adaptations for the UK & Nordics perimeter, sectors, and clients.
  • Coordinating with the Green & Sustainable Hub’s Center of Expertise to disseminate and market the team’s research and product development across teams.
  • Assisting with local Green Weighting Factor queries in collaboration with the GWF team.
  • Contributing to local education and increasing the penetration of G&S finance and ESG/sustainability initiatives with locally-based teams and partners.
  • Keeping informed about developments in the G&S market.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

Undergraduate degree, preferably in business, mathematics, finance, environmental science, ecology, or environmental engineering. Prior experience in ESG analysis or sustainable finance is required. Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary. Excellent interpersonal skills are needed to manage interactions with other teams within the Bank. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines is essential. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on clearly defined tasks while understanding when to involve other team members as needed, and to work effectively in a team environment. A strong appetite for innovation and business development is desired. Completely fluent in English (strong oral and written communication skills).
