Job summary

PA Consulting in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on UX/UI Designer to craft practical interfaces and flows that move products from 0 to 1 and beyond. You’ll work within multidisciplinary delivery teams, and at times embed with a client—while staying connected to our Design discipline and the wider Digital & Data community.

You’ll adapt to different contexts—from global consumer brands to UK services clients—focusing on outcomes and pragmatic delivery, and contributing to scalable design

• Partner with engineering, product and other designers to make quick decisions.
• Contribute to design systems and maintain consistent, accessible patterns.
• Apply AI tools to speed ideation, auditing and documentation.

About the role

As a UX/UI Designerat PAConsulting,you’lldesign practical, usable interfaces and flows that move products from 0 --> 1 and beyond.You’llsometimessit at the heart of multidisciplinary delivery teamsandsometimescontribute as an individual designer embedded with a client—allwhile staying connected to our Design discipline and the wider Digital & Data community.

You’llflex to different contexts—one week shaping product UI for a global consumer brand, the next helpingvisualisejourneys for a UK services client—always focused on real outcomes and pragmaticcraft-prouddelivery.

Whatyou’lldo

• Design user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes(manually and using Figma Make, or similar generative platforms)and UI that support shipping working softwareacross web and mobile
• Take concepts fromconceptto production‑ready designs and iterate based on evidenceor judgement and market-leading best practices
• Workat pacein agile dual‑track cycles (discovery and delivery), adaptingscopeand fidelityasneeded to meet the goals of both projects,organisationsand users alike
• Often partner with engineering,productand other designers to make practical decisions quicklyboth on and off projects
• Contribute to and use design systems; keep patterns consistent and accessible.
• Apply AI tools(e.g., Copilot,Miro, ChatGPT, Claude,agentic workflows,and othergenerativetooling)to speed ideation, auditing,documentationand analysis
• Facilitate client workshops, whiteboarding and designreviews,present decisions clearly
