PA Consulting is seeking a skilled software engineering leader within its Digital & Data community in the United Kingdom. You will drive end‑to‑end delivery, implement infrastructure‑as‑code, optimize performance, and uphold modern engineering standards across multiple client projects.

You will mentor engineers, steer cross‑functional teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver innovative software solutions. The role involves hybrid work with client sites and offices.

Qualifications

• Proven capability in shaping the end‑to‑end software delivery lifecycle, driving improvements across development, testing, deployment, and operational phases.
• Ability to implement infrastructure‑as‑code, CI/CD, and efficient release management strategies.
• Enhance system performance using load testing, caching, and optimizing database queries and application logic for better scalability and response times.
• Expertise in modern engineering standards such as TDD, contract testing, and secure coding, as well as architectural patterns like event‑driven architecture and platform migration.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical teams through complex challenges and guide clients toward successful digital transformations.
• Provide mentorship to engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment to align on client outcomes.
• Deliver hands‑on problem solving during whiteboard sessions and across hybrid work settings.
