Job description

Job Title: UX/UI Designer
Salary: £47,500-£52,500 doe
Location Status: Hybrid working options available
Location: Victory House, Brighton or Angel Court, London
Fixed Term Contract: 12 months
Shift Pattern: 35 hours per week

Your work will directly support our Individual and B2B customers in choosing products and managing their policies, ensuring an optimum journey for our members. Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business requirements and translate them into designs and journeys for the User Interface.
  • Create UX artefacts such as sketches, wireframes, customer journey maps, user flows, and interactive prototypes (use of Figma is essential).
  • Define the visual style and position relative to design guidelines.
  • Iterate designs based on feedback to produce production-ready products.
  • Manage the end-to-end design process from discovery to go live.
  • Ensure digital product journeys are on brand, compliant, accessible, and optimised for all screen sizes.
  • Create, update, and utilise in-house design systems.
  • Demonstrate understanding of market, technological, industry trends, accessibility, and user-centred design principles and user research methods.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proficient use of Figma and other design tools.
  • Good understanding of accessibility requirements.
  • An innovative and positive team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Self-starter with the ability to effectively prioritise own workload based on project demands.
  • Proven track record of delivering UX/UI solutions that enhance business KPIs.
  • Comfortable and confident in managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience using a variety of user research methods.
  • Experience in a global environment is an advantage (agency and/or client side).
  • Excellent communication skills, including facilitation.
  • Portfolio of mobile and web design projects.
