Job description

Job Title: UX/UI and Creative Designer

Location: Hybrid working, 2 days in the office –Based in Manchester

Help empower millions to achieve more by joining a world-class Microsoft consultancy.

WM Reply is a global award-winning Microsoft consultancy and digital workplace experts that create exceptional employee experiences. Specialising in Microsoft 365, we create digital workspaces that foster meaningful, online engagements for employees. Utilising the magnitude of tools in Microsoft 365 and a robust adoption and change management strategy, our mission is to empower our clients' workforces to achieve more and to be the most well-known and respected name in Modern Work globally.

In our multi-skilled and highly talented design team, we have UX/UI designers focused on developing user-friendly and engaging intranets and apps, creative designers who ideate memorable creative concepts, and motion designers who bring everything to life with eye-catching animated videos. The design team supports our technical and adoption consultants in delivering fresh, user-friendly and creative projects.

WM are part of the 16,000 strong Reply group with offices in London (HQ), Manchester, Milan, Frankfurt, Kraków, Chicago, and Turin. WM has a very special culture — one that treasures the unique, breeds entrepreneurship and celebrates the geek.

Here’s what you can expect to get up to:

  1. Work as part of a multi capability team to ensure successful adoption of Modern Workplace technology, primarily Microsoft 365 tools.
  2. Participate in UX/UI workshops and work closely with our technical consultants to gather requirements and create UI for Microsoft systems and apps.
  3. Use design system libraries and create interactive prototypes in Figma.
  4. Participate in creative workshops and work closely with our Adoption and Change consultants to gather requirements and design creative campaigns for the adoption of Microsoft tools.
  5. Design creative assets such as posters, top-tip cards and email banners using the Adobe Creative Suite as part of a creative campaign.
  6. Be involved on client-site filming of our launch videos and interviews.
  7. Design of marketing materials aligned to WM Reply’s branding.
  8. Opportunity to attend training courses and gain qualifications.
  9. Share best practice with other designers and across the organisation.
  10. User experience testing, optimising and improving.

What's needed?

  1. 1-2 years' experience either in-house or in agency in a similar role.
  2. Design portfolio and have a creative eye.
  3. Minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  4. Ability to discuss and explain design options with clients.
  5. Knowledge of Adobe products including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  6. Knowledge of Figma and UX/UI best practices/basics.
  7. Experience of Microsoft products is ideal but not essential.

In our annual employee survey employees rated their overall satisfaction at a 6.2/7 on average. But why do people love it here?

  1. Our people are our most valued asset so keeping them happy is a priority. We promote from within as default, support people when the times are hard and celebrate hard when times are good.
  2. Innovation is treasured and celebrated. With experts across the full stack of Microsoft technology there’s always something to learn or new to try out.
  3. We are social by design – with hybrid working enabled across all our roles you can expect plenty of working from home but enjoy regular visits to spend time with your delightful colleagues.
  4. We’re very proud of the diversity at WM Reply. For example, 40% of our staff are female which is double the industry standard. Representation goes from junior roles all the way to the top including our CEO and Founder. But we recognise we can do better so we’re always interested to hear from candidates from different walks of life. Hear what our staff have to say about diversity and inclusion.
