Job summary

A well-established digital agency in the UK is seeking a UX Designer to work on a public sector project. You will be responsible for building prototypes and collaborating with the client to bring their vision to life. Candidates must have extensive government experience and valid SC clearance. This remote role offers a daily rate of £375 - £400 outside IR35, starting ASAP until February 2026.

Job description

Remote, starting ASAP until Feb 2026, outside IR35, £375 - £400pd.

iO are working with an established and successful Digital agency in their search for a UX Designer. They work with global technology leaders to provide digital transformation services to a number of customers in industries including not-for-profit, financial services and the public sector.

This position is working with a public sector client on a new project that is currently in the discovery phase. In this role, you will be building prototypes and liaising closely with the client to bring their vision to life.

You must have extensive Gov experience, and ideally gone through an assessment.

We Are Looking For a Designer With Experience In

• GDS Experience is a must.
• Gov UK prototype toolkit experience.
• Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer etc.
• Expert knowledge of design software like Sketch/Photoshop/Illustrator.
