We are now recruiting for a UX Engineer. Reporting to the CTO and working closely with the VP of Digital Health Technology, the primary duty of this role will be to design, implement and shape how users interact with Vitalograph’s Digital Health Technology applications. The successful candidate will work closely with other cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, product managers, and regulatory experts, to ensure our solution meets industry standards and enhances patient outcomes.
Responsibilities as a UX Engineer:
• Craft thoughtful, user-centred experiences for mobile applications, web applications and dashboards, with focus on responsiveness and clarity
• Architecting and developing sophisticated frontend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, with a strong emphasis on creating intuitive, streamlined and engaging user experiences
• Translate workflows and datasets into clean, intuitive visual interactions
• Build wireframes, mock-ups, user flows and associated documentation
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions
• Closely work with developers to get the pixel perfect design and ensure that there is no error while translating the wireframes & visual design to code
Minimum Requirements:
• Computer Science Degree or equivalent engineering/programming degree
• 5+ years in applications development
• Expertise in front-end technologies, such as JavaScript/Typescript, CSS, HTML5.
• Expertise across Application, Integration and Security architecture
• Proven experience with Software Design Tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or similar
• Strong communicator, able to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively
• Collaborative and team-oriented, with a proactive approach to work
