Overview

UX Designer | Product (4 months fixed term, potential to extend) role at Journey. We’re looking for an experienced UX Designer to join our product team on a contract basis, supporting the next wave of feature releases for our B2B SaaS product that helps hotels manage spa operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead UX workstreams from discovery through to delivery, independently driving projects forward.
• Run stakeholder interviews and gather requirements to inform product decisions.
• Translate complex business needs into user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Build and test interactive prototypes in Figma.
• Extend and maintain the product design system, adding new components where required.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Present and explain design decisions to stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
• Balance speed and craft to deliver work that is both pragmatic and thoughtful.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of UX/product design experience, ideally with B2B SaaS products.
• Proven ability to take projects from discovery through to shipping.
• Strong interaction design and prototyping skills (Figma a must).
• Experience designing complex workflows into usable, elegant product solutions.
• Confidence running discovery activities such as stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering.
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
• Comfortable working autonomously, but collaborative when it counts.
• A problem-first mindset, with the ability to link business needs to user outcomes.
• Clear, confident communicator — able to present, persuade, and explain thinking to non-designers.
