We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate UX Designer to join us on a Fixed-Term Contract, for up to 24-months. You will be supporting the design process for digital products. Within this role, you will be gaining hands-on experience in a real-world product development environment. You will have the opportunity to provide intuitive, engaging and user-centred experiences.

  • Designing responsive web and app interfaces for complex financial products used by Computershare clients.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Developers and Business Analysts.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of Design System using Figma and Zeroheight.
  • Supporting UX research activities: conducting user interviews, analysing data, and presenting findings.
  • Mapping out user journeys, flows, and wireframes using UX best practices.
  • Participating in UX reviews, workshops, and design critiques.
  • Testing and validating designs though usability testing and gathering feedback.

You will have in the last 2 years completed a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Product Design, or related field.

What will you bring to the role?

You will be a curious, analytical, and eager individual; someone who is looking to solve real-world problems head on. You will understand UX/UI design principles, methodologies, and best practices and are comfortable working in an interactive, feedback-driven environment.

Other key skills you'll need are;
  • Familiarity of user research techniques, usability testing, and data-driven design.
  • Experience in interaction design, visual design, and prototyping tools.
  • Experience of using design tools and software, such as Figma, Zeroheight and Token Studio.
  • Basic understanding of front-end development technologies and their impact on design decisions.
  • Active listening and empathy to understand user needs, perspectives, and pain points.
  • Creative approach to generating innovative design solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
