Job summary

Amazon is seeking a UX/Interaction Designer to craft experiences for Alexa developer tools, including testing, submission portals, and certification workflows. You will create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs while collaborating with product managers, engineers, and senior designers.

You will support user research with developers, iterate on developer consoles and dashboards, and help scale design systems across touchpoints. A portfolio and strong frontend familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design user experiences for developer tools and workflows related to Alexa device app testing, submission, and certification processes.
• Create design solutions including interaction design, visual design, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and senior designers to translate requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Support user research activities with developers to understand pain points and workflows across the app development lifecycle.
• Design and iterate on developer consoles, dashboards, testing interfaces, and submission portals.
• Apply and contribute to design systems and patterns that scale across developer touchpoints.
• Present design concepts to team members and stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure quality implementation of designs.
• Balance developer needs with business objectives and technical constraints.
• Develop AI automation tools such as Figma plugins with vibe coding.
