Job description

UX Designer Role at CAVU

We are seeking a skilled UX Designer to join our team and help create seamless airport travel experiences. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in UX design, particularly on complex web platforms.

  1. Conduct discovery research to uncover user needs, pain points, and opportunities.
  2. Plan and facilitate usability testing (moderated and unmoderated).
  3. Collaborate with Digital Analysts to interpret behavioral data and validate assumptions.
  4. Run workshops with stakeholders to align on problems, explore ideas, and prioritize solutions.
  5. Translate insights into wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs.
  6. Contribute to and help evolve our design system and standards.
  7. Present and articulate your work, process, and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Advocate for accessibility, usability, and inclusive design best practices.
  9. Collaborate in cross-functional teams, working iteratively to deliver value.
Qualifications
  • Strong user research skills, including interviews, usability tests, and surveys.
  • Ability to work with qualitative and quantitative data to inform designs.
  • Experience designing end-to-end experiences from discovery to high-fidelity UI.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Figma for wireframing and prototyping.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Experience with internal tooling or SaaS platforms (desirable).
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
