Job summary

Description

Do you have an interest in customer buying behaviours and shaping user-friendly design solutions? AXA Commercial have an exciting opportunity for someone to join their Marketing team and deliver customer centric user journeys. You'll play a key role in representing, defining and improving customer journeys.

You'll have a knack for understanding customer needs, being involved in transversal digital projects and initiatives to ensure a consistent, best-in-class user experience is delivered for Commercial Directproducts and customers.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at our Glasgow office visiting clients or attending industry events.

We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you'll be doing:

• Represent the customer and Marketing team in transversal IT digital projects and initiatives to ensure a consistent, best in class user experience is delivered.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve customer experience.
• Challenge the business to have a customer first approach with any journey changes made.
• Lead from a customer experience perspective in the changes.
• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, mock-ups and prototypes, and co-ordination of copy requirements for changes, considering to accessibility guidelines.
• Support the delivery of UX improvements and carry out mobile testing on all changes.
• Drive business performance outcomes to successfully improve customer experience-based insight from data.

What you'll bring:

• Experience of UX/UI Design - essential.
• Ability to conduct user testing, desk research and review screen-recording software to assess and determine customer needs - essential.
• Solid understanding of human computer interactions and AI.
• Design and implementation of complex commercial, customer-focused online propositions solutions.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise data, research, and insights into recommending clear and actionable customer experience recommendations.
• Understanding of Figma, GA4, Decibel insights, A/B testing.
• Strategic thinking, problem solving, and taking a collaborative approach to design.
• Knowledge and understanding in carrying out IT testing on changes, specifically for mobile users.
• Stakeholder relationship management skills.

This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
