UX Design Specialist

Skipton Building Society is seeking a talented and driven UX Design Specialist to enrich our dynamic team. Joining our collaborative User Experience Design Team, a vibrant group of 6 UX Design Specialists, a forward-thinking Service Design Lead, 3 insightful Customer Journey Specialists, and 2 dedicated User Researchers. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital products. Your expertise will ensure these products are not only intuitive and accessible but also evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of our members. What Will You Be Doing?

1. Design end-to-end user journeys, from research and analysis to high-fidelity designs and user stories.
2. Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product launches and enhancements.
3. Conduct competitor analysis and utilise user insights to drive design decisions.
4. Contribute to Agile development processes, ensuring designs are accurately implemented and tested.

What Do We Need From You?

1. Proven experience in UX design for web and mobile applications.
2. Proficiency in design tools (eg Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
3. Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and take responsibility for the quality and timeliness of deliverables.
4. Strong understanding of user-centered design, accessibility, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. Experience contributing to product development.
7. Ability to translate user needs and business goals into effective design solutions.
